Well, it’s time again to meet your manager to ask you what your goals and priorities are for the next six months within the company. Your time is running out and the clock is ticking. If that’s the case, please feel free to copy or paraphrase some (or all) of my goals. ENJOY!

Career converastion and Talent Discussion

1:1 meeting with your manager (ABCD reflections)

  • Talk about your career and assist your people lead in getting ready to share your narrative during the talent discussion:
  • – Discuss where you are on your goals, your impact, and any criticism you’ve gotten; – Talk about the steps you can take to develop in line with your career goals;
  •  What skills and specializations you need to construct your future; then, after your discussion, put your development and growth actions in Workday.

Areas of Impact: How to make an impact and consider your priorities!

  • Social justice and equality

My priorities are in promoting social justice and equality, fighting discrimination and inequality, and promoting diversity.

  • Education and Mentorship

I believe in the power of education to make an impact by sharing my knowledge and skills with others. This may include volunteering as a teacher or mentor.

  • Health and Wellness

My priorities revolve around health and wellness, trying to adopt healthy lifestyle habits (I don’t smoke at all). I advocate for improved healthcare systems and accessibility (the fruit in the office idea is mine).

  • Personal growth and self-improvement

Prioritizing personal growth can indirectly contribute to achieving positive impact. By constantly learning, developing new skills, and striving for self-improvement, I can inspire others and lead by example.
